Hi - I just installed LPCXpressov 4.05, and when I try the New Project wizard, it fails with "Dependent project CMSISv2p00_LPC17xx not found..."

I have unzipped the CMSISv2 library as a subdirectory under my project workspace. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Mike

This is described in the Getting Started that is provided with the project. It is even available from the Welcome page that is opened every time you start the IDE.

In the Quickstart panel, press the Import button
Browse to NXP/LPC1000/LPC17xx (or whatever target you want) and you will find a bunch of examples there.

These all work out of the box.

The magic word is 'IMPORT'. Just import CMSIS as described in GettingStarted :)

1. IMPORT what ? and what page of which version of the G.S. ? I tried to import the hole bunch of stuff and still the same errror.

Why don;t you have an example PROJECT that can be OPENED and everything will just WORK at first launch. This is pathetic ...

...answered that one myself - I needed to import the CMSISv2p00_LPC17xx directory as a project *before* starting a new project.

<edit> Thanks Zero, seems we were typing at the same time. Read a manual, are you nuts? ;-)
