Hello dude,
I have a lpcxpresso LPC1769 ver. B. Just bought it:) And doing some debugging then I noticed the LPC3154 is getting hot while I debugging some code. And I also notice that it will become normal when I quit lpcxpress IDE. LPC1769 on target board is still cool. My question is it's normal?

regards,
pak

FYI - the LPC3154 is supplying power to the LPC1769 via its built-in PSU. So, I would guess you are feeling the heat from the PSU and not from the core itself.

Thanks, TheFallGuy. You've explained my question perfectly. :D

BTW, what is max current drain of VIO_3V3?

Can you measure the temperature of the LPC3154?

The temperature difference can be compared by touching LPC1769 and LPC3154. I think temprature is about 40 deg C. Have you tried it before? :)

I just tested mine and the LPC3154 barely gets warm.  I've never noticed it getting hot.

What are you debugging when it gets hot?  Maybe I can duplicate it.

Can you measure the temperature of the LPC3154?
