I just wanted a quick clarification...

The IDE supports [compiling for] the 2929 and 3250 yet the hardware JTAG doesn't ?  [as per the NXP documenation: http://ics.nxp.com/lpcxpresso/ ]

It's no immediate issue. I'm doing some shopping around, and don't want to go over the UMs to figure out if there is programming and debug compatibility between these and supported chips.

But it would be great news if the documentation was outdated or in progress.

The LPC2929 and LPC3250 [B]are [/B]supported by LPC-Link. What makes you think they are not?

However, have you taken a look at the new LPC1800 and LPC4300 parts? According to NXP, these will be shipping in early 2011 and will be supported in LPCXpresso.
