Hi,

Setup: MIMXRT685_EVK_CM33 board

Requirment: To debug / access console from UART from LINK usb. I am using J-Link to flash the program.

Problem: When I connect the EVK to USB of host. I am Not able to debug using LPC LInk2 and the device is not enumerated as COM port. In the device manager getting error as "USB Device PORT Reset Failed"

Note: I have updated the LINK usb with latest J-Link firmware using LPCScrypt tool.

How to restore the LPC of the NXP EVK?

Hello, @Sriharsha_Desai nystateofhealth

Certainly! To restore the LPC-Link2 on your MIMXRT685_EVK_CM33 board, follow these steps:

Navigate to the root directory where LPCScrypt is installed (e.g., C:\nxp\LPCScrypt\scripts).
Run the program_CMSIS script. This should help resolve the “USB Device PORT Reset Failed” issue. If you continue to face problems, consider contacting NXP TechSupport for further assistance.

I hope this will help you

Best regards

Hello,

As same that you changed the firmware for the J-Link, using the LPCScript in root C:\nxp\LPCScrypt\scripts and run program_CMSIS.

Best regards,
Pavel
