When you plug in a LPC-Link (unbooted) there is NO DRIVER to install. The necessary driver is supplied as part of Windows. We do install an LPC-Link driver, but this is only used after LPC-Link has been booted - you are not getting that far.

If you have tested that the same LPC-Link and cable work on another PC then my conclusion is
- your installation of Windows is broken, or
- the USB ports on your PC are broken

When you plugin the LPC-Link, it should report as "USB Device with DFU capabilities" and Windows provides the driver for this. The error you are receiving implies that the device is not enumerating correctly.

So, either you have a faulty USB cable, or you have a faulty device. Suggest you try a different USB cable and also try it in a different USB port on your computer.
