JTAG with other LPC

I recently got a LPCXpresso board. I am also developing with an LPC2194 Quickstart board from Embedded Artists using Eclipse, gdb, and a wiggler paralel port jtag-interface. The cuestion is if I can use de USB JTAG of the LPCXpresso board with my old toolchain, or with other open source gdb based debugger ( insight for example)?.
Is there any document about the facts?

The LPCXpresso IDE supports only a small subset of the LPC2xxx family, and the LPC2194 is not amongst them.

The LPC-Link interface is currently only supported in LPCXpresso (and Red Suite).

There is an upgrade product from Code Red (Red Suite 3 - currently in beta) that supports the LPC2xxx family and LPC-Link.
