Invalid Activation Code

Hi

I downloaded latest version 3.2.2 ( first time installation)
Install it without problems, got activation code in my mailbox i copy it
and paste in "enter activation code" and hit enter.
I get reply "Invalid activation code". I deinstalled the software and made a new installation but with same result. I made the same installation on another PC and that worked fine. Do you have any ideá what might be the problem ?

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3.

Hi,

The license file you have posted has a serial number of
OXJY-B5E2-ATPY-E2G5-DUIU-NTD0-EVNU-OZA0-MVAQ-BUIY

The serial number and activation code is unique to each computer and can only be used on that computer. If you need the license on another computer, you must use the serial number provided on that machine to get an activation code.

I get the same problems - Invalid Activation Code when I try to activate my installation of version 3.2.2

The code I received is:

[B]for serial number:[/B]

I have tried three times and I get the same activation code for each request.


Any suggestions?

The license file that you posted does not match the serial number and activation codes you posted.

The license file (LPCXpresso.lic) is created when you "Create serial number and activate", so can you send me the license file after you have tried activation again.

That is probaly correct, i havn´t keep track on the numbers of  tries.

One installation worked fine and that was on a Windows 7 platform that i have in my home. The other test´s ive done is on varius setings on same Laptop via LAN on work behind heavy restrictions firewall, mobile internet, Home internet via Wifi etc.. but all resulting in the same.

I see from our logs that you have registered a total 15 times and provided 5 serial numbers and received 5 activation codes. Have those other activations worked correctly?

I Know that each installation requires an unique activation code.
I have desinstalled the software, reebooted the PC, reinstalled software,
went to
Help
Product activation
Create serial number and activate
I get then an warning "this will overwrite your existing registration" Continue?Y/N
I push Yes
a new serial no is generated , i push OK
Web terminal opens and  the serial no is present in the "enter serial no here"
I push "Send me my activation code"
I get reply that a new activation code is sent to my e-mail account.
I wait a few seconds
Open the newly recieved email
Copy the activation code
Got to Help /Product Activation/Enter Activation Code
I paste into Activation code slot and push OK
I then get Invalid activation Code.
What am i doing wrong ?

If you are getting "invalid activation code" error, it will be because you have entered an invalid activation code...

An activation code is only valid on the computer that you use to register. Each code is unique.

Please try the whole process again, starting with:

Help->Product Activation->Create Serial number and activate

It´s correct i havn´t activated the software. The reason for this thread is that i can´t activate it.
When i try i get "Invalid Activation Code" in reply from LPCXpresso.

Hello,

It doesn't look like you have activated the product - there should be two files in the directory LPCXpresso.lic and LPCXpresso.acc.

Can you try activating again?

p.s. Does you account have admin privileges? If not, can you try from an account that does have admin privileges?

Today i tried your command
crt_emu_cm3_nxp.exe -info-license, once more and this time i didn´t get any error message. However i can´t see that it produced the desired outputfile.
I have Zipped the full folder of
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\LPCXpresso
but it only contains one file the LPCXresso.lic

Hi,
     I had the same problem with 3.2.2 and then I downloaded the "latest" ( 3.2.3) and placed it in a separate folder. I had the same problem on Feb 14th (Sunday) and tried it today - Feb 15th and was successful. Maybe the servers were shutdown during weekend ? Unrelated, but the last time I was signed in to my XP system as Administrator. Good Luck !

What was the error that was reported by the application?

Also, could you zip up the contents of the directory  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\LPCXpresso and post to this thread? There is no personal identifiable information kept in that directory.
