Importing LPC1500 PMSM FOC Control_v1.1.zip

I am new to using LPCXpressoaand have watched Youtube videos and read manuals.
But, I still have been able to import "LPC1500 PMSM FOC Control_v1.1.zip" into LPCXpresso v7.3.0 or v7.4.0.
LPCXpresso reports "No projects are found to import".
The readme.txt file in the zip reads:

This Zip file contains following items.
1) FOC Application Note
2) FOC PMSM firmware source V1.1 based on IAR toolchain
3) LPC1500 motor Control GUI v1.1
4) You can also use terminal program to send command to firmware.Change GUI_Interface=1 to GUI_Interface=0
to use firmware with terminal
"
What am I missing about how to do this?

Unfortunately, this demo has been written for IAR tools and not for LPCXpresso.

It should be quite easy to port to LPCXpresso, but I am afraid that nobody has done this yet.
