When attempting to Import Example Projects there seems to be a problem that may have something to do with the file location.

In Quick start, Click Import Examples. Then click on Browse to bring up the file chooser. Browse to C:\NXP\lpcexpresso_3.6\Examples\LPC1000\LPC17xx. Try to select any zip file (examples.lpc17xx.new.zip) and the file chooser shows No items match your search. and the File name: field will not populate.

But if this same file is copied to the Downloads area, then the import is successful.

Checking this file for attributes and permissions seems to be the same in either directory.

I have confirmed this behavior on my Win 7 Home Edition for both 32 & 64 bit. It feels like a Windows issue, but I can't confirm this.

Is this perhaps an Eclipse IDE or Code Red artifact?

Anyone else run into this?
