How to debug about LPCXpresso?

Hi,everyone:
I'm new in this area and I use LPCXpresso IDE in some time ago.
It's my first topic in this forum.thinks.
now,when I try to debug my project,it always shows this error information as below:
[img]sfa[/img][img=370x150]D:\1.bmp[/img]

(ps:code runs OK,while debug is unsuccessful...)

at last,I download some sample code on websit and then debug, Still have problems:
[img=630x358]D:\2.bmp[/img]

(ps:I used to develop project by using Keil MDK,in Keil environment,I can debug project via virtual simulation simply.)

If I disconnect target,Can I debug project use virtual simulation?
By the way,how can I debug project corrocttly? What should I change some setting or configration?
Who can provide me some advise?

Now,I meet some problems when I try to upload the images. I ready to provide the detailed information about error windows.
In order to solve this problem better.I list operation process:(LPCXpresso vision: v5.2.4)

step 1:Creat a new project and named "MyProject".(OK)

step 2:Edit code and compile it.(OK)
       (output"*.hex" file and "*.axf"file correctly)

step 3:Download "*.hex" file to the target board.(OK)
       (use Magic tool,ISP mode)

step 4:Debug part.
       "QuickStart"-"Debug and Run"-"Debug 'MyProject'[Release]"
       After I click "Debug 'MyProject'[Release]",a information window named 'problem occurred' shows on screen,it says:
       'Launching MyProject' has encountered a problem.An internal error occurred during: "Launching MyProject".java.lang.NullPointerException

      The console window shows:'make: Nothing to be done for `all'.'

I hope that what is said above can help you understand my problem. Now,I don't know what can I do.
If I do not connect target board,Can I debug project use virtual simulation?
Do I need to change some settings?
