Hi professionals,

Does anybody know an easy way to activate Code Read Protection (CRP) at LPC11xx? We want to protect our IP against piracy. How can I write CRP level 2 into flash location 0x000002FC? When CRP2 is enabled is it then further possible to abuse a flash sector as an "EEPROM"?

Thanks in advance, nerd62  ;-)

With any of CRP levels, IAP calls can be still used to program the flash. Be careful with CRP3, a good idea is to insert a 'backdoor' as detailed in the following AN: http://ics.nxp.com/support/documents/microcontrollers/zip/an10851.zip

There is an example for LPC13XX series that shows how to enable CRP.
