Hi,

I have LPCXpresso Hardware Model LPC1769 and LPCXpresso IDE Version 5.1.0.

I am currently following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV7rG2VdG9E. At 8:29, the tutor talks about being able to see a datasheet for the parts by holding the CTRL key and clicking the name in the lower right. My version of LPCXpresso does not have such datasheet.

I have those type of links and names on the lower left side instead of right and clicking with CTRL pressed does not open a datasheet. Please find the first two images attached (first one shows the tutorial's version and the second is my version). Note the red circle, I am supposed to be getting some datasheet for the part, what I am getting a property dialouge for a component.

I have also attached a third picture of what a datasheet supposed to look like.
This is different from a property dialouge, because in the Youtube video we get to see the latter sperately using another mechanism.

The "datasheet" browser is opened by clicking on the part name on the status bar. A command prompt is opened if you control-click. For more details please see:

http://support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/StatusBar

Note that doing this just follows a web link in the part description stored within LPCXpresso. Unfortunately NXP have recently removed some of these links, so that for some parts you may see a 404 error page displayed. We are currently discussing with NXP how to best fix this for a future LPCXpresso release.

You can also open a browser to the NXP top level MCU webpage by clicing on the "NXP" on the status bar. This will then allow you to navigate through to find information on the part that you are using.

Regards,
CodeRedSupport

User Manual LPC1769 click here :D
Data sheet LPC1769 click here :D

Google is your friend :p

Actualy I never tried to get a user manual or datasheet from within the LPCxpresso environment because of the fact that they are subject to changes.
