Going round in circles! LPC1798 examples

Hi Guys,

I just got a LPCXpresso LPC1769 and have just spend a couple of hours trying to find the example projects for it.

The start card comes with it has www.nxp.com/lcpresso this doesn't exist.

The board page here http://www.nxp.com/techzones/microcontrollers-techzone/tools-ecosystem/lpcxpresso.html has the following link:

http://ics.nxp.com/support/lpcxpresso/ this is redirected back to http://www.nxp.com/techzones/microcontrollers-techzone/news.html so you just go round and round in circles.

The examples that come with the IDE seem to be for different boards.

Other links I have found also don't exist or go to the NXP home page, I take it that web sites have moved but I have ploughed through pages of the www.nxp.com site and just cannot find anything!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Sorry 1798 was a typo!

Maybe one problem is that there is no such part as LPC1798! You either mean LPC1768, or LPC1769. LPC1768 is identical to LPC1769 except for max clock speed (100Mhz vs 120Mhz IIRC).

So, assuming you are using LPCXpresso 5.2.4, you want to use the examples found in Examples/NXP/LPC1000/LPC17xx and use either LPCXpresso176x_cmsis2.zip or examples.lpc17xx.new.zip

Wow, 1798 :)

And I'm still working with 1769 and examples in

...LPCXpresso_5.2.4_2122\lpcxpresso\Examples\NXP\LPC1000\LPC17xx\LPCXpresso176x_cmsis2.zip
