I would like to run FreeRTOS  on my LPC1769. What do I have to download and how do I use it? What do I have to initialise for the RTOS? How to create tasks and set priorities? Please help, tutorials on the FreeRTOS website doesn't help me.

I suggest that you visit the FreeRTOS website - there is lots of material there : www.freertos.org.

There is also a FreeRTOS example for LPC1769 in LPCOpen:

Thanks for your reply, but I don't know what to do.

Can you please give me a step to step guide? I have the latest version of LPCXpresso IDE.

What I want to achieve: a helloWorld output on the console running on FreeRTOS.

What I want to achieve next: a helloWorld output on the console and a byeWorld output on the console in two different threads.

You would help me A LOT if you'd explain me step by step.

Thanks in advance!!

In the first place, there is a FreeRTOS example provided as part of the LPCOpen bundle.

Richard (Mr FreeRTOS) gave a presentation at the NXP booth at EElive last week, which will be available to watch online shortly. But you can also watch a presentation he gave for us last year at the DesignWest show:
