Just tried to update a german W8 PRO /32 PC to  LPCXpresso v5.2.4 [Build 2122] [2013-04-29].

Got a message:

and the driver isn't installed:

Trying to install it online or local failed:

Is there a known issue with german W8/32? Is there someone out there who is using this version and Link2?

Note: LPCXpresso is working without problems and LPC-Link. Anti-Virus & Firewall are off.

I have just double-checked, and it all works perfectly on our Win8/32 bit machine.

In my experience, this error is normally associated with a bad install of Win8 - possibly the driver database has become corrupted?

It's customer PC, which I use with remote support software (TeamViewer) to program / test things. Not sure why it's 32 bit. Probably because it's an 30€ WIN8 Update from Vista PRO 32.
I've noticed that Link2 has less problems with power saving (at least with W7). With Link there are problems to recognize it after 'Sleep Mode' (reconnecting USB is solving that), therefore Link2 looks like the better choice.

No known issues here - we'll look into it.

Out of interest though, why Win8/32 rather than 64bit? Is this by choice or due to hardware limitations on your PC?
