Hi,

I have an LPCExpresso board with an LPC1769 and I am using it with Code Red under Linux.

After downloading a firmware which probably badly configured the ARM, I cannot enter debug mode or erase the flash.

I tried triggering the ISP bootloader, has it says herehttp://support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/DebugAccessChip, but I don't know where pin RST is located.

I simply grounded the ISP pin, power-reset the board and then disconnected the ISP pin. It appears that my firmware was not executed, but I still cannot enter the debug mode or change the flash.

No, I am using Ubuntu. But I finally figured that I had a problem with my code.

I was setting the watchdog, and apparently during debug the watchdog runs independently. So every time I was able to flash the micro, it would block again.

I removed the watchdog code and now grounding the ISP pin, power reset, ungrounding ISP works.

Which Linux are you using? Not Gentoo is it?
