I see that the IDE v7.8 now loads firmware CMSIS-DAP by default.

Is the (full) source code for this available as I thought (could be wrong) that CMSIS-DAP
was open source.

The CMSIS-DAP license is Apache 2.0.

There are lots of different CMSIS-DAP implementations - it is not 'one thing'!

The CMSIS-DAP implementation used in LPC-Link2 is not available.

However, I believe that ARM (through their mbed website) have made the source for a base implementation available in the Hardware SDK.
