I need some help debugging install or setup problems.
I'm using my win7 64bit laptop and 3.3.3 version of the binaries.
When I try to compile with debug the "Blinky" test,
I got one error related to missing LPC11xx.h
so I searched under the c:/nxp subdirectories
and found that it was located under an examples directory
c:\nxp\lpcxpresso_3.3\Examples\LPC1000\LPC11xx\1114examples\CMSIS1pv30_LPC11xx\inc
I added this to the include directory paths.
Now I'm getting a different compile error "eabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lCMSISv1p30_LPC11xx"

How to fix this error?

David

It is probably not documented specifically, but you are the first (of thousands) to have reported this particular issue.

Anyway, I am glad you are now up and running.

Ok.
After I imported all of the examples, I can compile successfully.
Are there instructions to import all of the files before compiling?
Did I miss some instructional videos or README?

You have to import all of the examples and not just one. There are library projects in the examples bundle that blinky and others rely on. Cmsis is one such library

First, I downloaded the 3.3.3 from CodeRed website.
Then I installed it.
I didn't see any install problems.
Then I connected the LPCxpresso board to my laptop USB.
As soon, it was connected, the red link started to blink.
Is this the default?
Then I tried to compile the example and it outputted error related
to missing LPC11xx.h file.
So I searched the c:\nxp subdirectory and found it.
So I then added this in the include search path.
The compiler was able now recognize the include .h file
but now I'm getting the current error without the LPCxpresso board plugged in.

/../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lCMSISv1p30_LPC11xx
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe: unrecognized option '-Map=blinky.map'
make: *** [blinky.axf] Error 1

See attachment for screen shot.
Does the LPCxpresso board have to be plugged into the laptop in order for the program to compile properly? Maybe that's my problem.

It builds without any problems for me, using Win7 x64 with V 3.3.3, which I downloaded before it was withdrawn.

The examples work 'out of the box' so there should be no need to make any changes. Can you explain what you did, step-by-step.
