I need to program an LPC2214 (ARM7tdmi)  from LPCXpresso V8.2.2, I was under the impression from your website that the CMSIS-DAP probe on the OM13085 board could be used for this as this is a replacement for the LPCXpresso V1 boards which are ARM7/9 compatible. We have purchased 2 boards, but LPCXpresso says that the "Debug probe not supported with this target" "Reason:LinkServer does not support NXP LPC2214/01 (arm7tdmi)"

How can I program an Arm7 device from LPCXpresso?

Many thanks,

Andy.

Unfortunately LPCXpresso IDE only supports debugging ARM7 based MCUs using LPC-Link1 or Red Probe+
debug probes. It is not possible to use a CMSIS-DAP probe for ARM7 based MCU debugging. For more information, please see the FAQ at - https://community.nxp.com/message/630901
