Hi,

I am using[SIZE=3] LPC1768 LPCXpresso Board[/SIZE] and I have trouble understanding the ADC conversion frequency. It is specified to be 200 KHz in the datasheet and there are 8 mux inputs to adc. Should I divide this number by 8 to get the conversion frequency of a single channel or this number is already given for a single channel (assume Im using all 8 channels at the same time).

This is what seemd logical to me at the beginning but at some other places I read some things about the division of the frequency to the number of channel. Thank you very much NXP European Team. Edin

Hello edin,

every conversion can be done at a max speed of 200kHz. Every 5 uSec a conversion is made.

In the LPC1768 a multiplexer (= switch) is used to choose which of the inputs are to be connected to the input of the ADC.
