I'm working with an LPC4330-Xplorer Board (http://www.element14.com/community/roadTests/1117) and I need to get a ribbon cable that has the 10-pin .05" header (for the xplorer board) on one end and a 10-pin .1" header on the other end. Anybody know where I can get that?
The SimpleCortex board definitely uses .1" spaced header (I have one); so apparently, this is a non-standard connector style for this purpose. Actually, though, just looking again at the picture on http://www.brc-electronics.nl/, it DOES show what appears to be a .05" spacing header! That's different than my board. Hmmm... didn't even notice that. Bottom line is I have this board, so I guess I'll just have to build up a cable myself.
Thanks
I'm playing with a SimleCortex board (http://www.brc-electronics.nl/). As appears to be the case with many of these eval boards, the debugger is built right onto the board, but is also configured so that the debugger can be used to connect to other boards (a switch on the simplecortex allows it to be disconnected from the onboard LPC1769). Anyway, on that board there is a 10-pin .1" spacing header that I was assuming would be the "other" end of the cable I was hoping to buy.
I was hoping to play with the debugger that is built into the "SimpleCortex" board (http://www.brc-electronics.nl/). It has a 10-pin .1" spacing header that I've been assuming is the "other" end of the cable that I need.
A 10-pin .1" header is unusual, do you mean 20-pin?
What debugger do you use, maybe it supports the fine pitch cable directly (e.g. ULINK2 does)?
The connector is a Samtec FFSD, you can get it at Element 14 among others.
