On Mouser's website, it shows both the obsolete part (OM13089,598) and the newer part (OM13089UL). However, I cannot find any documentation or schematic that may explain the difference(s).

NXP switched from having a ",598" suffix to a "UL" suffix for boards about 4 years ago. Unfortunately there is occasionally some confusion about this, and it looks like this led to a bogus board part number being created here. OM13089,598 doesn't exist; the OM13089UL part number is correct.
