No LPC54xxx with CAN peripheral?

Hello,

just searched the LPC54xxx family and found out,  that there seems to be no CAN peripheral included in any of the controllers. Is there a reason for this? Are there upcoming LPC54s which contains CAN?

Hi Martin,

LPC54000 series will have dual CAN2.0 controller, actually our lead customers have it now and developing on it for their MP.  We will announce it formally in November and make sure our distributors have it by January.   This is called LPC5460x.

In Q1, we will expand the family to include dual CAN-FD (LPC5461x).
