Hi,

i'm designing a datalogger with the LPC1857. I need 1Gbyte of logmemory. i see the lpc 1857 can't address this amount so i'm looking into a  NAND flash. But it is unclear to me if the EMC of the LPC1857 can work with a NAND-flash. and if so, are there any design examples available?

kind regards,

Wouter

You should be able to add NAND flash to the EMC.
But: you need a complex piece of software to access the NAND flash!
My advice: don't do that!

Instead: use a microSD card. No pain, you can adjust the storage size by requirement, you can change the card and put it into your PC.

If you want a non-replaceable solution, try a emmc.

Wolfgang
