Trying to incorporate SECTOR BASE Authentication using MIFIRE DESFire card, but as per NFC Reader Library examples, code is available pertaining to only MIFIRE PLUS card. We require a similar SECTOR BASE Authentication API for the DESFire card.

I would be grateful if anyone could point me to the source code if available.

Yes, there are some examples for MIFARE DESFire EVx. But for more precisely support to you, could you share which type of reader do you use?

Hello Kelly,

Yes I have already set up the NDA and have also got the access to the specified code you are referring to but my Query is that the code specific to SECTOR based Authentication is not present in this MIFARE DESFIRE EVX program., I am looking for one similar to the one given in MIFARE PLUS , but for the MIFARE DESFIRE EVX card.

Could you please advice on this regard.

Yes, I understood your mean, but please attention, memory organization of MIFARE PLUS and MIFARE DESFIRE EVx is different. The non-volatile memory of the MIFARE PLUS is organized in 32 sectors of 4 blocks (from sector 0d to 31d). Then NV-memory of MIFARE DESFIRE EVx is organized using a flexible file system. Therefore, based on the above description, the authentication process of the two is different.
