Will there be MCUXpresso SDK support for the LPCXpresso43S67?

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no SDK for LPC43xx family devices. We currently have no plans to provide MCUXpresso SDK for this device family.

You can use the LPCOpen Software for LPC43xx devices, LPCOpen is an extensive collection of free software libraries (drivers and middleware) and example programs that enable developers to create multifunctional products based on LPC microcontrollers. Access to LPCOpen is free to all LPC developers.

I'm not sure you will be able or allowed to answer the following, but would you say that the Kinetis family is being provided more support and possibly preferred status for new designs than the LPC family?

If the Kinetis is not preferred over LPC by NXP, can you explain the lack of support under MCUXpresso and SDK Builder?
