LPC55S06 RTC status following nRESET event

Hi,

I need to use the RTC feature on the LPC55S06, and after reading this previous forum post (https://community.nxp.com/t5/LPC-Microcontrollers/LPC55xx-Power-consumption-when-in-RESET/m-p/100875...) it appears that an external nRESET event causes the RTC to reset. Can anyone clarify whether this means that the RTC time value is wiped entirely, or whether the RTC just halts during the duration of the reset event, and then carries on. Many thanks for any help.

Regarding your question, the RTC time value is not wiped entirely for LPC55S06. I just checked the UM, and I found this:

PD: A suggestion is to check firstly User Manual and Datasheet for the specific part number that you have.
