What's up NXP,
I am interested in LPC553x in a battery powered application. Power consumption and battery longevity are paramount, and as such, I have a question about current consumption in active mode. The data sheet specifies typical consumptions around 1-2mA at 12 MHz active mode but nothing is specified at lower frequencies. This suggests there is no proportional reduction in current consumption as clock frequency tends towards zero. ST completely characterizes their M33 parts at near zero clock speeds with ~100uA currents in active mode. Can we have LPC553x current consumption at lower clock speeds please?
Hi
When customers chooses LPC553x, as I most most user application system clock is higher than 12M, so we don't have the same statistic for CCLK lower than 12M. In this case, the current consumption must be lower than the consumption at 12M.
I can escalate it as document improvement request to document team, but for the moment we don't have it. user needs to measure by self.
Thanks,
Jennie
