LPC54606 JTAG PINS AS ALTERNATE FUNCTIONS

The IOCON block is included on all LPC546xx devices. Registers for pins that are not
available on a specific package are reserved.
Remark: Some functions, such as SCTimer/PWM inputs, Frequency Measure, JTAG
functions, and ADC triggers are not selected through IOCON. The connections for these
function are described in either the Input Multiplexing chapter (Chapter 11 “LPC546xx
Input multiplexing (INPUT MUX)”) or the chapter for the specific function. Refer to specific
device data sheets for pinout details.

I did not find information in the user manual to change JTAG pins to alternate function for EMC D0 and EMC D1.

Can any one help me?

In the datasheet, alternate function EMC_D[0] is at alt5. it should be at alt6.

Hello nagarajan,

1) About the pins function selection, please refer to Table 256 of User Manual, the datasheet you mentioned just shows the pins function, not the meaning alt5 or arlt6.

2) About your first question, could please take a screenshot show detail ?thanks!

Regards,

Alice

For pin PIO0_3, it is correctly specified as alt5 is reserved. I would like to point out, the datasheet is not consistent.

Anyhow, thank you for the input. I had made excel sheet using device datasheet for pin assignments.
