NXP monitors the reliability and failure rate by running HTOL on samples from each fab process. The LPC54xxx uses the C090 process at TSMC14. Based on the most recent year of process monitor data, 344 samples were tested with no failures. This confirms the FIT rate is below 10.23 at 60% confidence level. Based on this FIT rate the MTBF is 11,139 years.
