Hi

Facing the issue related to LPC1768Emac(DP83848). No response from the Host.

Working on some systems(Both windows7 and Windows10).

most of the time not working on Windows10,32/64bit, Realtek LAN drivers of System.

System IP Address:192.168.1.200

Mask IP Address: 255.255.255.0

Host IP Address: 192.168.1.210 (LPC1768EMAC-DP83848Phy MAC).

No response from the Host. LPC1768EMAC_No_response_log_details.JPG

Is there any dependent parameter like LAN drivers, OS,etc..?

kindly suggest any solution for this...

Hello,

Could you please describe the environment for when it works and when it doesnt. Are you working with a custom board? Also are you basing your application on a reference example that works with emac?

Best Regards,

Sabina

Hi,

Thank you so much for reply.

Are you working with a custom board?

I'm using custom development board (LPC1768 development  board).

Are you basing your application on a reference example that works with emac?

-->Yes using reference example of EMAC with LPC1768 controller.

Working Environment

Working on Windows7 and Windows10 systems with 32/64 bit machines.

selected system network parameters as,

System IP Address:192.168.1.200

Mask IP Address : 255.255.255.0

Host IP Address:192.168.1.210 (LPC1768 board,Same as given on sample code)

I'm getting the response from the board.(i.e packets capture on wireshark tool) & able to communicate with Board

Not working Environment

Issue found on most Windows10 ,32/64 bit machines

Doing the same procedure as explained above, but unable to communicate with Host(LPC1768 Baord).

screen-shots are attached on the issue posted earlier.

unable to identify the issue, please let me know any suggestion/modification.

Hello,

Being that it is a custom board and it sometimes happens on different windows 10 machines. I recommend the following:

Take one board that you know does work on one machine and try on a machine you know does not work.  Are the results different?

Also please make sure that your debugger's drivers are updated.

Sabina

Hi,

Thank you for reply.

I had loaded the program on board and did the Network settings on both system.

Tested on 2 windows 10, 32/64 bit OS(Two system have same network configuration).

I'm able to get output only on one system.(checked individually)

On other system,No response from board.

Is there any dependent parameters like(OS version, Network LAN drivers, etc).

let me know any changes need to done on the test procedure/coding/methods.

Warm Regards,

Hello Manjunath,

Unfortunately, I have not been able to successfully reproduce a similiar case from my end. I recommend to check if there are difference from the machine on windows 10 that works and the one that doesnt. Such as what you have stated above: Network LAN drivers or also disabling the firewall completly and see if this results differently.

Best Regards,

Sabina
