Morning All,
We've been struggling to get reliable autobauding on LPC1549 for some months now. I know autobauding is a minefield and that matches the effort we've put into addressing the problem. But I have a simple question:
What baud rate(s) should we be able to use reliably?
Cheers,
Mike.
Hi Alice, that would be great. I find 115200 works most of the time with other LPC parts (LPC2364, LPC1763, LPC824, LPC845, LPC1788) but with the LPC1549 it's failing to autobaud about half the time and my client is having to use 19200 or even 9600 for reliability.
But I think you've answered my question - thanks! 115200 should be achieveable. I'll kick this back to the hardware engineers.
Update: we have found slow edges could negatively affect autobauding.
But the problem remains, with many theories being suggested. We are close to giving up on ISP.
