Hello,
I want to be able to monitor the CAN traffic without acknowledging any messages, and at the same time to be able to send a message on the CAN bus.
Is this possible with LCP11C24?
What I'm reading on the datasheet is that I can monitor the traffic by setting it in 'Silent Mode'. In this mode it looks like all transmit functionality is disabled, so it seems I cannot send a message.
In 'Basic Mode' I can send a message, but the messages I'm monitoring gets accepted. Is there a way of monitoring messages without being acknowledged by the LPC11C24? ...maybe some play with the filters and masks...?
