How does one connect an external Crystal to the LPC1112FHN24 which has only an XTALIN and no XTALOUT ?

You can connect to any pin  ;-)  For crystals IN and OUT are necessary...

No OUT, no crystal.

sorry, I don't understand how I answered myself!
The XTAL ends are normally connected to the XTALIN and XTALOUT.
But in case of the FHN24 package we connect one end of crystal to XTALIN, what happens to the other end? Do I leave it OPEN or connect it to Vdd or Vss ?
