Is the LPC4337JET256 compatible with the LPC1837JET256

Can I drop this Cortex M4 onto my board in place of the Cortex M3 part and expect it to work?  The datasheet makes em loop awfully compatible but it does not come out and say it is.  I want to make use of the extra clock speed and the math co-processor.  So I would only expect to modify initialization code for the 204MHz.

Are there any gotchas that I need to know about.

What about eratta?  The 1837 had that CAN problem in rev "-".  Has the rev A of the 4337 been released with that fix?

Thanks

Hi Tony Vinto,

Yes, and LPC1800's pin assignment is compatible with the LPC4300.

The bug is also exist in the initial device revision of the LPC4337, but not in the second revision.

Hope this is clear.
Have a great day,
