Hi,
Very new at this.
I am trying to choose a micro-controller. Since a USB host theoretically can have 127 devices connected to it, is it fair to conclude the two USBs on a LPC1788 can have 127x2 devices connected to them?

Or does it only support 2 at a time; one for each USB?

I do realize implementing it is a different story.

Thanks.

Download a copy of the NXP LPC178x/7x User manual (UM10470) from:

www.nxp.com/documents/user_manual/UM10470.pdf

Read Chapter 13: LPC178x/7x USB device controller. I'm not a USB expert by any means so can't say for sure but it look like you'll find the answers you are looking for (and a whole lot more) there.
