This maybe a question only someone from NXP can answer.
Does anyone know what the HDD jumper on the OM13320 kit is for?

I can't find an explanation in the documents and I don't notice a change when I add the jumper.

Hi,
Sorry for the late response. I never got a notice for your reply even though I'm subscribed to this post.

The pullup jumpers you're referencing are JP11, JP12, JP21  & JP22. Not JP1 & JP2.

I've downloaded the updated documentation but still can't find an explanation of JP2 (HDD).

Thanks

Hi ,

The purpose of using the jumper JP2 (HDD) is explained in the documentation .

http://www.nxp.com/demoboard/OM13320.html#documentation

In the Fm + Development board bus structure , the size of the pull up resistors can be changed by moving shorting jumpers (JP1, JP2, JP11, and JP12),  providing selection of ‘Low’ ‘Med’ and ‘High’ resistor values scaled to the Fm+ I2C Bus drive strength. As a supply select jumper ,the voltage supply between 1.0V and 3.2V can be decided based on the jumper JP2. More details can be found in the Installation guide found in the link mentioned above.

Thanks,
NXP technical support
