Error when importing lpcopen_v2_00a_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_11u14.zip and lpcopen_2_05_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_1343.zip

The following error is displayed when trying to import pcopen_v2_00a_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_11u14.zip and lpcopen_2_05_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_1343.zip

Have attached the error screen.

Using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with LPCXpresso v7.3.0 [Build 186] [2014-07-09]

Can someone suggest a fix please?

I Have removed LPCXpresso v7.3.0 and installed LPCXpresso v7.2.0 , and was able to install both the files with no problems, as well as the ones that worked.

For now I will use LPCXpresso v7.2.0

I have reinstalled LPCXpresso, and still have the same problem.

Any other ideas?

That actually looks like an internal database corruption in your LPCXpresso installation. I suggest you uninstall and re-install.

I have downloaded them twice. Do have an alternate download location available?

BTW: I have just downloaded and imported both of these projects and they work as expected. The only other thing I can suggest is that your downloaded zip files are corrupted. Download them again.

It looks like you are using "Import from XML description" - as the error is being reported in the XML parser.

If you are not doing that, please zip and attach the flle
[your_workspace]/.metadata/.log

Thank you for the quick response.

I am using the import in the quickstart panel as per your suggestion.
I have successfully imported the other lpcopen files which are lpcopen_2_01_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_812.zip and lpcopen_2_10_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_1769.zip

How are you trying to import? To import these projects you should use
Quickstart panel
  Import projects...
And then use the Browse button in the Project archive group.

This is described in the User Guide.
