Hello,

I am using the LPC1837 and the internal EEPROM. Unfortunately, I can not find any information in the UM10430 about the EEPROM content after the manufacturing.
Which content will have every EEPROM cell after the manufacturing? 0x00000000, 0xFFFFFFFF or totally out of order values (not defined)?

In which document can I find this information?

Best regards

Hi John,

The EEPROM should definitely be all 0's. The fact that they are not is a red flag for us and I would like to investigate why this is happening.

In the interest of improving quality would you be able to provide me with some additional details about your situation?
1. What is the chip markings of the parts that you are seeing this on?
2. How many parts are effected this way?
3. How many bits in the effected parts are not 0's?

Any information along these lines would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Dale

Hello drs,

so we can't find the information, we did a lot of test.
The EEPROM mostly have 0's but sometimes there are bit with 1's.
So we delete the EEPROM in manufacture to ensure all bits are 0.
Sincerely

John Sinclair

The content of EEPROM after manufacturing is all 0's.

We will update the data sheet to show this. Thanks for the heads up!
