I am using LPC11U68 eval board to program and debug a off board target processor (LPC11U68).
The debug session does not start and I get the following errors:
MCUXpresso IDE RedlinkMulti Driver v10.2 (Jul 25 2018 11:25:37 - crt_emu_cm_redlink build 555)
Reconnected to existing link server
Connecting to probe 1 core 0:0 (using server started externally) gave 'Ee(42). Could not connect to core.'
Connecting to probe 1 core 0:0 (using server started externally) gave 'Ee(42). Could not connect to core.'
Connecting to probe 1 core 0:0 (using server started externally) gave 'Ee(42). Could not connect to core.'
Server OK but no connection to probe 1 core 0:0 (after 3 attempts) - Ee(42). Could not connect to core.
Failed on connect: Ee(42). Could not connect to core.
No connection to chip's debug port
I saw similar postings but the suggested solutions did not work for me.
The debugger configuration is shown below:
Is there a known solution to this problem?
Thanks!
I am also having the Ee(42) issue on two different LPCXpresso V2 boards on a new PC build.
It seems my solution was disabling the enhanced peripheral service:
Hi Adam,
Thanks the recommendation. I unchecked "Use enhanced peripheral service" but it did not work for me.
I noticed that this error occurs when I power the target board from an external power source (not from the development board)

Hello Mohamed ,
Could you please take a picture to show how connect board?
Also please use the newest MCUXpresso IDE v10.3 to have a try.
