KSDK - PEx

I'm using this environment

  • KDS-2.0.0
  • KSDK-1.1.0
  • K64F12
  • ProcessorExpert
  • MQX

In my project I want a combined CDC+MSD device eventually, but for now I could use just the CDC.

I've tried to make a project, but my PC mostly says that the device is illegal

(I've tried the MSD). Yes, I've tried to read the documents, there is about a mile of doc, with nice

screen-dumps which seems to be slightly out of date. All examples are with standalone processor,

and no ProcessorExpert.

Is there any example project, using MQX, PEx, KDS and USB?

I'm aware of the USB projects on MCU on Eclipse (Erich Styger), but he seems to use the OLD

USB V-4.1.1 stack.

Hello Ole Asbjorn Fadum,

we have not this complex guide.

But I can recommend you follow these steps

Re: how configure an USB HID with processor expert?

in created application you choose fsl_os_abstraction for MQX.

I hope this helps,

Best Regards,

Iva

Well I've moved to KSDK-1.2.0 and would try only a MSD.

I just add a fsl_usb_device_msd_class to my project, and change Vendor ID / Product ID to what is used in the examples (0xa215/0x0008).

The project compiles, but when I download it windows doesn't bother, the USB 'plong' is not heard.

Shouldn't a bean generated code at least be discovered by windows???

Hello Ole,

Do you have connected both USB cables?

It is very usual mistake for this case.

Have a great day,

Iva
