I'm using KMS1.0.1.

The product is finished and working, at least for motors that were characterized several months ago.

Recently when trying to use KMS1.0.1 I get the following error:

pastedImage_1.png

whenever I connect, start motor measurement, update motor drive configuration, store motor information or just about any KMS interaction.

I've installed KDS3.2, KSDK1.3 and KMS1.0.1 on a freshly formatted PC.

Started a new project with all default settings and get exactly the same result!

Next I tried KMS1.1.0.

Again with brand new project, then I get plagued with different error messages.

Please help.

KMS 1.1.0 gives the following error message:

This is rather sad, now I cant use either KMS 1.0.1 / 1.1.0.

Any advise please?

Vickus,

Can you zip up all of the files under: C:\Users\<your user>\Documents\KMS_1.0.1\Archive and C:\Users\<your user>\Documents\KMS_1.1.0\Archive and post them here?  This will help me understand the issue and be able to offer a resolution.

Can you also post the .kms file from the project where you saw the initial error?

Thanks

Hi Adam.

Attached the files you requested.

VSDD.kms -> KMS_1.0.1.

Try20170610 -> KMS_1.1.0.

Like I mentioned in the post, I got the exact problems on a PC that I

formatted.

This PC only has Windows, KDS3.2, KSDK1.3 and KMS1.0.1.

Also I started a new project for the FRDM KV31 and PMSM board to avoid

infecting anything with my code.

I dont have access now, but will send the same files from that in the

morning.

Please feel free to ask if you require any more info.

Vickus,

Can you describe the language and localization settings for your copy of windows as well as the version of windows?

We think the issue is related to that.  As a work around can you set your language to English US?

Vickus,

One thing I noticed in your screen shots is that the number format is still set to English (South Africa), can you make sure that the number format is set to English US?

Would it be possible for you to zip up your entire project and send it to us?  This would let us further try to replicate.

Hi Adam.

I changed regional settings via control panel rather than Win10 task bar

shortcut, problem solved.

Thanks for the prompt response.
