The inertia values are measured through Kinetis Motor Suite and given in unit: [A/(rpm/s)]. How do I convert these values to SI units? I want to calculate the rotational energy.

Vegard,

In order to convert from A/(rpm/s) into SI you need to convert the electrical power (A) into mechanical power [N] using the torque equation:

Torque = 3/2 * Pp * Flux * Current

You also need to convert from rpm/s into elec rad / sec.

This can be slightly tricky and it is important that your units are correctly aligned.
