Hello everybody
It's my first experience with NXP microcontrollers.
I chose Kinetis EA for my embedded application.
So I installed S32DS tool for a FRDM-KEAZ64Q64 evaluation KIT.
I tried some example projects and now I need to start my own application.
I want to use Processor expert to simply configure pinout, drivers ecc., but no one "*.pe" file are present in examples.
Have some tips for me? :smileysad:
Thanks
Diego
Hi Diego
See links below for KEA8 and KEA64 support in the uTasker project (as open source or professional versions).
It has chip simulation and doesn't need configuration tools to set up immediately working projects, which can be used with S32, KDS or MCUXpressor (or various others).
Regards
Mark

Hello,
We recommend S32 Design Studio to work with the KEA family, because this devices are oriented to automitive applications.
However unfortunately, KEAZ64 and KEAZ8 are old MCUs and at the moment there is no plan to add SDK package in S32DS
for this devices.
In this case KDS is the IDE that support those MCUs with Processor Expert, but this IDE was replaced by MCUXpresso IDE.
And the support for KEA devices got limited to KDS (or S32DS). So if you really to use the PE, the KDS is the only choise.
