Hello Friends,
I am using the KL04 chip on a custom board.
I am getting the "Device is secure error"
I have not done any changes to the code.
This is quite strange.
I programmed the same code to a diff board and its ok.
WHy is it so.
How can I ensure that my chip is never secured accidently or otherwise.
This is quite a confusing thing. Also, can i recover a chip thats secured.
It says "Erase to unsecure" or something. But still the
device remains secured.
Regards,
Vinod.
Hi Vinod Karuvat,
You could try to unsecure your device by making a mass erase, to do this you need to select mass erase in the connection you use:
1) Go to Run -> Debug Configurations and in the window that appears select your connection.
2) In “Target settings” you will see the connection. Click on “Edit”.
3) Check the box that corresponds to “Always mass erase on connect”.
4) Click on OK and then in “Debug”. This should mass erase the device before programming it.
Hope it helps.
Best regards!
Carlos
