Using the model based design toolbox for FRDM-KV31F MCU

I currently have the  FRDM-MC-LVBLDC low-voltage, 3-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) Freedom development board, which uses the FRDM-KV31F MCU. I want to develop an FOC control system using the NXP model based design toolbox. However the toolbox suggests that it only  supports the SK32 family. Can i still develop the control system using this toolbox and manage to run my MCU?

The model based design toolbox supports the following mcus:

In your case you should not have a problem since you are using the KV31. However, please make sure to download the correct version from the download link.
