Using the MKE18 internal clock as system clock

Hello,

I have a MKE18 TWR development board and I would like to use the internal clock instead of the external 8MHz clock.

If I look at the block diagrams in the datasheet it should be possible, see attachment for the clocking diagram. I would like to get 120MHz system clock.

Thanks!

Hi Rudy,

Internal 48MHz Fast IRC can be used to generate 120MHz system clock with MCUXpresso Clocks Tool

You can download the standalone MCUXpresso Config Tools, and read the "Chapter 4 Clocks Tool" of MCUXpressoConfigTools_User_Manual.
