It would be insightful if NXP would kindly grant someone time to document the LITERAL meaning of the unexplained acronyms that are FREQUENTLY used in all documentation for MCUs such as the KL27z, especially the reference manual and datasheets.
For example, what to the letters "FTFA" mean in FTFA_FOPT. Just stating that it "refers" to the Flash Memory Module is not good enough. Why is it not called the FMM then?
Without knowing what the letters stand for it is impossibly hard to learn or sensibly guess or re-construe the name of some MCU modules.
It would be insightful if there was a glossary of such terms at hand.
Here are some explanations that might help others;

AIPS explanation (e.g AIPS = AMBA to IPS bridge. Or AHB to IPS bridge.)
"The AMBA to IP Bus Bridge (AIPS) module provides an interface between the 32-bit high speed StandardProduct Platform (SPP) bus and the lower bandwidth 32-bit Intelligent Peripheral Subsystem (IPS) bus."

FTFA explanation? (FTFA = Flash TFA. TFA = Trusted Firmware-A) (Seriously?)
Hi
I suspect FTFA means something like Flash-Thin-Film (type) A
and FTFL and FTFE types L and E:
