TWR-DOCK-K60LCD Kit

I want to buy one TWR-DOCK-K60LCD Kit. But I don't know the function of the Touch LCD . Is it used to display the desktop of the Iphone mobile ?  Can the TWR-DOCK-K60LCD Kit support HDMI output ?  Thanks.

Hello,

The touch LCD is there to give you the possibility to control it with the Kinetis K60 and create an interface that will communicate with the iOs device.

Kinetis microcontrollers do not support HDMI or HD sceeens. You need bigger microprocessors. Take a look at the i.MX 6 family.

I'm afraid they're not designed to be compatible between them.

What kind of application do you need to test/develop? The TWR-DOCK kit is designed for people who is going to develop accessories to iOS devices, usually done with small/low power microcontrollers.
