Silicon versions for MK10 processor

I need to purchase some MK10DX256VLQ10 processors but none are available atm.

The MK10DX256ZVLQ10 is available but it is using "initial" silicon instead of "main" silicon.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these two versions of silicon and whether the MK10DX256ZVLQ10 is a suitable replacement for the MK10DX256VLQ10?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

The 'initial' means that it is the 1.x silicon. 'main' means that it is the 2.x silicon. You can refer this document. If possible, please do not use the old silicon.

Have a great day,
TIC
